Lewis and Clark College is situated between Tryon Creek State Park and and a quiet residential neighborhood with the nearest commercial areas about 15 minutes away in downtown Portland or Lake Oswego.  Most of these hotels are within a 15 minute drive from campus.

Going into its fIFth year, the Stumptown Twilight offers a unique opportunity for top distance runners to get in one more race prior to the USATF National Championships in Des Moine, Iowa. Fast times, competitive fields and an energized fan base are guaranteed.

Event & Registration Info

REGISTRATION CLOSES: mAY 28

There will be an $12 registration fee per athlete to be paid online.

Ages 8U, 9-10, 11-12 may compete in a maximum of three events including relays

Ages 13-14, 15-16, 17-18 may compete in a maximum of four events including relays


COMPETITION WAIVER

Every athlete must have a waiver filled out and turned in when picking up your number:


Meet Schedule

Packet pick up begins at 7:30 am. Races and field events start at 9 am.

Running events will be run with the youngest age group first. Girls then Boys.

Day 2 Events

  • 1500m

  • 200m

  • 400m

  • 4 X 400m relay

  • Turbo Javelin (Boys and Girls run simultaneously)

  • Javelin (Girls competition then Boys)

  • High Jump (Boys and Girls run simultaneously)

Day 1 Events

  • 3000m

  • 100m

  • 800m

  • 4 x 100m relay

  • Long Jump

  • Shot Put (Boys and Girls run simultaneously two rings)

Shot Put weigh-in will be from 8:00am- 10:30am at the awards table


Age Divisions

Race Divisions are set according to the USATF. You do not need to be a USATF member to compete.

  • 9 - 10 (previously Bantam) 2009-2010

  • 11 - 12 (previously Midget) 2007-2008

  • 13 - 14 (previously Youth) 2005-2006

  • 17 - 18 (previously Young) 2001-2002

Bringing Oregon’s best YOUTH ATHLETES to the annual middle school state cross country championship. We are looking forward to hosting runners from around Oregon once again in this celebration of our great sport.

 

Competition Levels

Individuals and teams can register for either the CHAMPS and SUPERCHAMPS competition levels. All runners will run on the same 3000 meter course in one of the following levels of competition.

  • CHAMPS

This level of competition is for runners who are just beginning to compete in running or runners interested in a less competitive racing option.

  • SUPERCHAMPS

This level of competition is intended for those runners looking for top level competition.
