TrackTown USA invites those in the Portland area to come down to Pioneer Courthouse Square from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27 for a special opportunity to purchase tickets in person at the Portland 2016 Countdown Celebration. Festivities include:
- Ticket Sales on Site
- Countdown Clock Unveiling
- Live Entertainment
- Youth Engagement
Special guests include Olympians: Bernard Lagat, Sally Kipyego, Genzebe Dibaba, and Renaud Lavillenie.
For those in the Eugene-Springfield area, two TrackTown USA buses will depart from the Valley River Inn at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27th.
Up to 100 passengers will travel to Portland with us.
Those on the bus will receive a commemorative t-shirt, complimentary access to the TrackTown Hospitality Tent and beer garden in Pioneer Courthouse Square, and will be first in line for 2016 World Indoor Championships tickets!
Seating is free but very limited, sign up today. You can reserve a maximum of 2 seats.

For all track & field fans around the world, Tickets will go on sale online May 28.
The 16th edition of the biennial meet – which features more than 600 athletes from as many as 214 different countries from around the world – will be held March 17-20in Portland. It begins at the Moda Center with the men’s and women’s pole vault on March 17, followed by three full days of competition in a temporary 7,000-seat stadium at the Oregon Convention Center. The pole vault will be free to the public.
