Ashton Eaton Leads First Seven Named to Team USA for World Indoors

USATF announced the first seven athletes set to compete for Team USA at the IAAF World Indoor Championships two weeks from today. Oregon native Ashton Eaton leads the initial group, as he seeks to claim his fourth world indoor heptathlon title, while possibly challenging his indoor world record. 

The list of seven are as follows:

  • Mike Rodgers (60m)
  • Nia Ali (60m hurdles)
  • Omar Craddock (triple jump)
  • Ashton Eaton (heptathlon)
  • Curtis Beach (heptathlon)
  • Barbara Nwaba (pentathlon)
  • Kendell Williams (pentathlon)
