Overview

PDXC started in 2009 as a collaboration between local high school teams, USATF and CYO to bring a cost free cross country program to middle school athletes in the Portland and Willamette Valley areas. PDXC was made possible through a generous grant from the Willamette Valley Track and Field Foundation. This generosity has made this free opportunity for Oregon’s middle school teams, clubs and individuals possible every year since its inception. The Annual PDXC Middle School State Cross Country Championship has become the highlight of middle school cross country in the region each year.

Mission

PDXC Youth Running Series  is committed to promote the sport of cross country running within the Portland and Greater Northwest community by extending competitive fall running opportunities to local grade school and middle school athletes.
