9TH annual team race

The Portland Track Festival - City Race will return to its roots in 2024 where Portland and Seattle will battle head-to-head for pride and prize. A combined team of men and women from each city will start separately but converge on the finish line together to decide whether Portland holds on to the Battle Axe it won last year in 2023.

• TEAM STRUCTURE

  • Each team will consist of up to 14 athletes

  • 5 Men (min)

  • 5 Women (min)
    

• competition

  • All competitors will race 3000m

  • The women’s field will start approximately one minute ahead of the men. All will finish at the same finish line.

  • The First 10 team members across the line will determine the scoring regardless of gender.
    

• What You Get

  • $100 per runner for the winning team

  • The traveling axe trophy
